About Us

Crestview Elementary School (CES) is a welcoming and inclusive community that celebrates the diverse cultures and backgrounds of its students and families. Through collaborative efforts, the staff identifies and supports the unique needs and strengths of every learner, fostering an environment where all voices are valued. Programs like mentorship partnerships with Park High School and AVID pen pals help students build interpersonal and community connections, while schoolwide expectations—Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe, and Be Kind—are reinforced through student leadership initiatives such as ambassadors and classroom responsibilities. Special events like Discovery Day and Family Cultural Night, along with after-school programs, celebrate student individuality and promote equity.

CES prioritizes excellence in education and equity through initiatives like the Conscious Discipline leadership team and culturally responsive professional development for teachers. CES integrates innovative programs such as Shepard Farm partnerships for hands-on learning and mindful use of the school forest, offering unique opportunities like snowshoeing and planting butterfly gardens. Community partnerships provide essential resources, including a clothing closet and food programs, ensuring support for all families. Monthly celebrations of students exemplifying respect, responsibility, safety, and kindness underscore CES’s commitment to fostering a positive and thriving educational environment.

The school also has an active and welcoming Parent Teacher Student Association.
