ERHS Senior Named Top 300 Scholars in the 82nd Regeneron Science Talent Search

South Washington County Schools (SoWashCo Schools) is excited to congratulate East Ridge High School (ERHS) senior Kenneth Chen for being named a top 300 Scholar in the 82nd Regeneron Science Talent Search (STS). His project has gathered scholarly interest among top research scholars at The Society for Science.

Chen has earned $2,000 for himself and $2,000 for ERHS for STEM-related activities. He will find out on Tuesday, Jan. 24 if he will be named a top 40 finalist, each of whom receives $25,000, and participate in the final competition in March. The prize for the most promising emerging STEM leader in the United States is $250,000.
