Before and After-school Programs
South Washington County Schools provide K-8 students with access to summer and extended day experiences that advance achievement, strengthen connections within the school community, and affirm potential.
Extended Day programs at crestview elementary
About:
Targeted services instruction is designed to maximize student success and engagement. A variety of classes, taught by licensed teachers at no cost to families, incorporate STEM, literacy, mathematics, physical activity, computer science, the arts, and social/emotional learning. The curriculum is scaffolded to provide students with opportunities for support and enrichment as they advance through grade-level standards. Teachers collaborate annually with families of eligible students to develop Continual Learning Plans (CLPs) that define individualized goals and communicate progress.
Programs Offered
These programs are by invitation only. Students selected will have received an invitation at school conferences or by email.
Drop-off/Pick-up Information and Kids Club:
Transportation for before and after school programming is not provided. Parents will need to either drop off or pick up students promptly at their start or end times.
If your child currently attends Kids Club at Crestview Elementary, they will be able to go to Kids Club following or prior to their program.
Deadline to Apply:
Registration will close Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 11:59 p.m.
Registration will be open Oct. 13-23.
Confirmation of enrollment along with class details will be shared with families on Oct. 29.

Targeted Services student criteria
The following considerations inform student eligibility for Targeted Services:
- Progress toward grade-level standards
- Attendance
- English Language (EL) proficiency and/or participation in EL services
- Need for additional social/emotional learning support
- Homelessness
- Student-specific circumstances, by exception
